So I forgot to mention this but I started watching Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution ever since my health class. We were learning about nutrition and watched his T.V. show because they're an exposition of how unhealthy and cheap the school lunches are and how some of the food they give us was originally going to be used for dog food. Jamie Oliver revolutionized school lunches in England. There was some really interesting things and when I watched it all I was thinking was it's anything but white. Hispanic and African Americans have practiced the use of every part of the animal as food so as not to waste. Jews have practiced being the cheapest asswipes they can be. So when I found out that they spin fatty, germ infested beef to get the red meat out of it, then soak it in ammonia to kill germs so we can eat it I was about to puke. They use what's intended to be dog food and feed it to us. Now it's not a 100% deal though. They can only make the ground beef up of at the most 30% ammonia treated meat. But there's a worse side, the ammonia treatment is considered a process so they don't have to list it as an ingredient. Chicken nuggets are worse, I knew that there isn't enough meat on a chicken to use the breasts, wings, thighs, and legs to make nuggets and other ground meat based chicken products so they'd probably use the hunk of 40% bone that's left to make the ground meat. But, I didn't expect it to also include chicken skin and a whole lot of powders. The powder is just so that it'll look and taste like chicken. Yes, I said it correctly. They need to flavor chicken to taste like chicken. It didn't surprise me in most things but when I found out these things I hated it. Then Huntington, West Virginia needs to learn how to diet. I hope that fucked up town has changed and accepted Jamie. This kind of ties in with me though because recently I haven't cooked as much as most of the food we eat is pre-made, ordered, or processed. I've been wanting to get back into cooking but never got around to it so after watching Food Revolution I consider it a waking call to fix up our diets.
