What is Love?
So, I thought about it and how can you exactly define love. Yea it's a level of affection for another thing, living or not, but what is it? There's how people normally use it, "OH MY GAWRSHSH I LOVE THIS FOOD". But there's the term that represents loyalty for another person that gets thrown around too often. I guess love is a result of an immaterial debt to another person that you can't possibly repay. Debt such as that instills a love and loyalty to the other person. What I'm saying is, true love isn't created by someone having a rocking bod. Neither is it formed from the personality of that person and how it matches with you. It's a bond. A bond built between the two that is normally hard to break. As the two interact the affection grows between the two. I guess that's why I have such problems with expressing my love of Blue. Besides the fact that I have a problem with expressing my feelings in general, although there's an occasional poem or "rap", with Blue the bond I share with her has recieved a lot of wear and tear, but it's still there to an extent. Like the saying "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" even though the bond is weak now, it's going to repair itself and be a lot stronger. Love is like a metaphysical muscle, to strengthen your muscles you actually do damage to them first. But you stop after awhile. Now I'm not saying that I'd intentionally cause friction between Blue and I, hell no, I wouldn't do that between me and anyone. I'm saying that when that friction does come and it gets resolved, it leaves opportunity for things to rebuild into something better.
